Colchester community invited to free fun day
COLCHESTER residents are invited to a free fun day organised by a team who are battling the cost of living crisis.
Jessica, Karen, Lyndee, Magenta and Rebecca are creating one big idea that tackles the cost-of-living crisis through All In, Eastlight Community Homes’ ground-breaking community programme.
They are inviting everyone to drop into a free fun day taking place at the One Colchester Community hub in Long Wyre Street on Saturday, 27 August between 10am and 2pm.
The event will appeal to all ages and include games, competitions and street entertainment along with free food and drink.
Visitors can also learn about the work the team are doing to combat the cost of living crisis and discover how they can get involved.
Lyndee Oscar, one of the All In team for Colchester, said: “Over the next few months, we want to bring people in Colchester together to have their say on how we can tackle the cost of living together.
“Do come along on Saturday, enjoy some free food and drink, have some fun and find out how we can unite to make a difference in our communities.”
