Applications open for local community grants

RESIDENTS are invited to help award funding to local organisations making a difference in the community.

The All In Alliances are encouraging local community-based organisations to apply for their community grants, which could see them receiving up to £1,250 to support their work.

The funding will enable a variety of groups across the districts to continue their hard graft in our communities, whilst providing new opportunities for residents to get involved with local projects.

With a total of £12,000 available, the grants will be equally divided across Braintree, Witham, Halstead and Colchester. Each town or city will receive £3,000, with the funding being broken down to awards of £1250, £1000 and £750.

Applications are open to all local community organisations who would like to use the grants to start new projects or with ongoing needs that would benefit from some extra funds.

Applications are now CLOSED. To be involved, join our Spring Alliance meetings to vote for which groups the funds should be awarded to.

So, who decides who gets their fair share of the funding?
