Take action on the big issues at All In festive events
RESIDENTS are invited to a series of public meetings where they can access funding and support from Eastlight Community Homes to tackle the community issues that matter to them.
The All In Community Alliances have been created by Eastlight for anyone who wants to make a difference in their community, but does not know where to start.
This December, a series of meetings will focus on a specific theme identified as a big issue locally – from homelessness in Colchester to parking in Witham.
Attendees will be invited to agree on a campaign that will help tackle that issue – aided by funding and support provided by Eastlight.
Everyone who attends will get a free small gift and will be entered into a prize draw to win a Wilkin & Sons Christmas hamper.
The next meetings are:
Colchester Alliance
- Thursday 1 December, Hythe Community Centre
- 6pm (food) for 6:30pm start – 8pm finish
- Theme: Homelessness.
Braintree Alliance
- Monday, 5 December, St Paul’s Vicarage
- 6pm (food) for 6:30pm start – 8pm finish
- Theme: The cost-of-living.
Halstead Alliance
- Tuesday, 6 December, Queen’s Hall
- 6pm (food) for 6:30pm start – 8pm finish
- Theme: Isolation & loneliness.
Witham Alliance
- Thursday, 8 December, Witham Public Hall
- 6pm (food) for 6:30pm start – 8pm finish
- Theme: Parking.
